Print Advertising
• Media Accepted: Digital files only. Mail ads on CD-ROM to the address below; Email digital files to ads@cryogas.com if file is under 6 MB; FTP transfer for files larger than 6 MB (email ads@cryogas.com for FTP information).
• File Format: JPG, TIF or PDF with fonts and graphics embedded (CryoGas does not accept ads built in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint, or Corel Draw).
• Supported Applications: Press-ready PDF files with fonts embedded are preferred.
• Required Proofs: A high-resolution color proof of all ads must be supplied to CryoGas to guarantee the accuracy of ad reproduction. This applies to all ads, including uploaded or emailed materials. Without a proof, CryoGas cannot guarantee ad reproduction.
• Photos for Print: 300 dpi at final size saved in TIF, JPG or PDF. Bitmap images for line art should have resolution between 800 and 1200 dpi.
• Color: Color images should be saved in CMYK format. All spot color is produced using four-color process. The advertiser must provide the CMYK percentages to arrive at the appropriate color.
• Ad Size: Crop marks for page-size ads should be at trim size. Bleed ads (full page ads only) extend beyond trim by 1/8 inch on each side. Fractional ads should be set up exactly to sizes published on the Rates and Specifications page of this Media Kit or as posted on our website, www.cryogas.com/advertise.
• Contact: Include the name, phone number, and address of the creator of the ad in case CryoGas has questions regarding your ad.
• Charges: Production charges will be incurred if changes must be made to your ad files due to errors in ad size, unacceptable fonts, or unacceptable file formats. Charges are subject to an hourly rate, with a $100 minimum. Consult jfreitas@cryogas.com for estimated charges.
• General Rate Policy: All advertising is accepted subject to the terms and provisions as written in CryoGas’s media planning guide. CryoGas reserves the right to reject advertising which it views as not in keeping with the publication’s standards.
On-line Advertising
• Marketplace Ads: Ad Specs: 228 (width) x 540 (height) in pixels. File types: GIF and animated GIF, JPG, and SWF (Flash files).
• Classified Ads: Email text including heading and contact information as a MS Word® document to ads@cryogas.com. Images for inclusion in a Classified Ad must be saved in JPG, GIF, or PNG format and emailed with word document to ads@cryogas.com.
• Banner Ads: Ad specs: 300 (width) x 69 (height) in pixels. File types: GIF and animated GIF, JPG, and SWF (Flash files).
